npub1kmks7r9kd2mnwrg2c678ewsgpkh78gacjntsjkd33kvz6jqfy83qugmtuy (npub1kmk…mtuy) I think about Sling Blade all the time, for some reason the whole family loved that movie so our old VHS copy got a lot of plays, and it was also in frequent rotation on the cable movie channels when I was growing up. I was pretty pleased when I came across this tape in pretty good condition for a couple bucks.

And yes, all the various sounds and hums are very nostalgic for me, the VCR I picked up months ago is one of my best investments in some time.
