Looking at fairly new single family homes and wondering why kitchen sinks so often face a wall instead of a window. Some sinks are facing the living room- all open, no wall. Perhaps worst of all some builders have put a double sink into a "breakfast bar" with seating and have the whole thing protruding into the living room.
I would not dream of having my messy kitchen sink openly exposed to living areas. Do buyers really like this design?
