if someone is triggered by a word and the social media they use offers a feature to mute or otherwise hide posts that contain that word i believe it is reasonable to expect that this person as an individual with agency can use that feature. therefore, weird mangled spellings with asterisks or slashes should not be used for the purpose of avoiding triggering people, as to do so causes an outcome contrary to this purpose
