So, I was part of a panel discussing Nature and the Law yesterday with Professor Salomé Voegelin (who is awesome, by the way, go have a look at her work). Halfway through the evening she said that in her opinion, we as are society are already in a palliative phase. I'm not sure she's right, but isn't that a terrifying and depressing idea?
