Yes, I admit that I do. I probably drink about a liter a day. It probably would be better if I did not, but it's a weakness of mine. I like Cola. It is sweetened with aspartame.
Aspartame is 200 times sweeter than sugar. So 1 liter of regular Coke contains 108 grams of sugar and diet Coke contains about 0.5 grams of aspartame.
Aspartame is not causing me any immediate issues (headaches, digestive, neurological etc). Long term is more unknown.
FDA says 4.7 grams per day is ok for me.
