I spun up T-Mobile via Helium Mobile next to my AT&T service.
When you have two lines active at the same time on your iPhone it splits your bars to show signal strength of each. It's pretty cool to have two networks of coverage.
I will keep paid full access to AT&T and have added TMobile access for basically free for data and calls. Pretty cool. By free I mean:
1. Added Helium Mobile Unlimited plan for $20/mo (US Only for now)
2. Activated the coverage mapping on the Helium plan to earn $15 to $25 per month, at current $Mobile prices, for going about my day with the app able to test their network coverage in the background.
3. Leaving both plans active by just "adding the eSIM" for Helium alongside the AT&T eSIM. (Only on paid-off, unlocked phones)
4. Also putting a couple of Helium Mobile Hotspots up downtown if I can find friendly spots that I frequent.
Now I have super strong coverage and am participating in another decentralized project.
It has me asking myself about the Helium Mobile project structure and what the flow of money looks like.
My helium mobile referral code:

…in case you want to play too and feel like bonus rewards on signup.
