The question GPT3 answered in the note below (“What food would you use to prop a book open and why?”) was suggested on LessWrong as a one question Turing test for GPT3.
As you can see in the LessWrong post, early GPT3 answers ranged from “I would use a banana. It is very brown” to “Lollipop. Why? Because it is sweet and sour at the same time,” to “Mayonnaise.” Lol.
Today’s GPT3 has evolved and answers this question in a way a human might answer it—so a pass on the Turing test, imo.
