Instructions can be found at the top of this thread or in the linked document.
— Have you written slice of life stories, slice of life interludes (for instance in a thriller)?” How does slice-of-life support or hinder stories?
— Have you written a gender-bending role model story? E.g., Man who raises her children, woman who's a starship captain, trans woman who's running for mayor. Would you, why or why not?
— (Opposite of #8) Do you have a character who feels compelled to act out a gender other than their own, e.g., a macho man, a girly girl, etc. Why or why not? Analyze someone else's character if you'd prefer.
— Have you ever written a character who never comes out gender- or preference-wise? Would you? Why?
— Do you use they / them / their / theirs (or it / its) instead of the generic gender him / his, etc.? How do you feel about how it reads? Does pronoun choice telegraph a message, or it transparent?
— Do / would you use gender preference pronouns in the narrative and dialogue, or only in dialogue. [Gendered dialogue only?]
— Do you know a trans person? (Without outing yourself, they can be you.) Would you write a story featuring one? Why or why not?
