Emeritus Prof Christopher May on Nostr: I guess that when the BoE complains about workers attempts to repair their finances ...
I guess that when the BoE complains about workers attempts to repair their finances (via wage rises) as being inflationary, they're looking the other way from the London Stock Exchange boos who has just seen his pay double to £13m; that's merely a just reward for his hard work (despite serious problems at the LSEx).
These pesky workers on the other hand demanding wage rises to make up for their lowered standard of loving - well that's just greedy.
Interest rate setters hypocrisy!
