It's intellectually interesting to see these price breakdowns but the reality is that my groceries never get any cheaper, even when they try and fool me with "Inflation is falling".
I mean, when did any of us think "Oh that's good, a loaf of bread is cheaper this week"?
The article also overlooks 'shrinkflation' where the packaging may look the same but the contents are reduced.
