On nostr, you can't know the sequence of events.
I had suggested to publish kind-1 notes as ephemeral events during the authoring phase, so replying would not be possible yet, but conversations could speed up as you could author a reply to a kind-1 note before it was sent and the other could see you are authoring as he writes. A bit crazy but intriguing I would say.
