Zoneminder/BlueIris + Hikvision or other chinese cams are also acceptable as long as they're hardwired, high resolution, have IR, can push motion/object detection, and live feed can be pulled up on mobile within 5s.
I'm not married to Ubiquiti at all, but for someone just starting out and getting serious about CCTV security cams, they're my first recommendation.
