I know, but external tariffs make imported goods more expensive which will raise prices and make everything more expensive. I still think that is much better than the government tracking every penny we receive, giving tax write-offs if we spend our personal money the way they wish and taking their cut.
I'd say the best thing will be if prices go up a little, maybe we can start producing some of our own stuff again.
