Thank you! I've always found the term Fediverse too childish and inconcrete, while ActivityPub or federation are too technical or too arcane. Open Socials sounds appropriate.
I've come to call social media "the socials" lately and people seem to understand what I mean by it. Adding a bit of "open" won't hurt much more.
