I love the way you think and the way you outline your thoughts in writing.
Very interesting rabbit hole.
In Douglas Adams' series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the supercomputer named Deep Thought (interesting name as a joke) answers the question, "What is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything?" After 7.5 million years it replies, 42.
42 divided by 2 is "21". The Taiji divided by 2 is either Yin or Yang, but not purely one or the other. Maybe the Bitcoin ecosystem is not the complete "perfect" circle yet and just the brace for that which will complete the Taiji. Humm ... is BTC the Yin or the Yang of that which will be.
Among the multitude of speculation of what "42" represents is the thought that the ASCII number 42 represents the asterisk '*'. This is the wildcard character which represents a placeholder for anything. So life is anything you want it to be?
The ASCII number 21 represents 'NAK' or Negative Acknowledge. I found this description:
"Sent by a station as a negative response to the station with which the connection has been set up. In binary synchronous communication protocol, the NAK is used to indicate that an error was detected in the previously received block and that the receiver is ready to accept retransmission of that block. In multipoint systems, the NAK is used as the not-ready reply to a poll."
Satoshi was a programmer like Douglas Adams. Maybe there is something there; or maybe there isn't. Fun to speculate isn't it?
