"content": "In the early evening hours tonight (13th January), the full #Moon occults the planet #Mars across a wide swath of North America. The event will be visible without any optical aid, but binoculars or a small telescope will help show better what's going on. Mars will spend about 45-60 minutes \"behind\" the Moon as seen from Earth depending on the observer's location. \n\nMore detailed information with times is available from IOTA: http://lunar-occultations.com/iota/planets/0114mars.htm\n\n📷: Stellarium\n\n#Astronomy\n\nhttps://media.astrodon.social/media_attachments/files/113/822/171/737/581/738/original/0627bfb922395e2c.png\nhttps://media.astrodon.social/media_attachments/files/113/822/179/274/864/529/original/5ea46030605fc747.png\nhttps://media.astrodon.social/media_attachments/files/113/822/182/049/036/996/original/3b15ac3579690f3d.png",
