I reiterate what I have always tried to persuade others to think during election periods: if you do not vote, it is the equivalent of voting for the side that you hope would lose in the first place. There is no middle ground in abstaining or refraining from voting. It is just the reality. Please do go and vote because you personally have a stake in the outcome.
