npub1ykddq7nmfd8cd0hupl8fnsmmuhtg55zusm6de4fjecmrhsx4x97qvw6j2y (npub1ykd…6j2y) Interesting. I had no idea load times nowadays are THAT bad without an SSD. I didn't play games newer than maybe 2015 before I got a proper gaming PC in 2020 and I put an SSD into that right from the start.
I also had no idea what WAD files are. I only knew stories of arranging files on optical discs from Playstation devs (the first Playstation, that is) - for the same reason. Immediately makes sense to me though as magnetic drives are spinning devices, too.
