Forging (I don't know if it's called that in english) is such a cool mechanic in hearthstone I'm surprised noone has ever tried using it in an irl tcg (you pay two mana [universal] and a card gets buffed while not telling your opponent what that card is, just that you did forge it) it's pretty easy to impletement too in something like mtg, just tap x ammount of mana and put a counter on a face down card or something
