While I managed to get #uucp working with four different remote machines and now am happily exchanging emails and news with all of them, one system still eludes me: my humble Linux notebook.

And I am not quite sure why that is. By all accounts I should have no issue making a uucp connection to my server at all. In fact I make a connection and then it times out.

Why though?

Unknown. No errors in the logs, and the server doesn't even register the attempt.
Something seems borked.
