the lastest doctor who episode hurt my head. it made no damn sense. but it compels me tho. my sister who enjoys looking into occult things seemed to have a greater grasp on the idea of it than me. i couldn't make heads or tails on how the mechanics and the logic of it actually worked. but at the same time this season has been dealing with magic and folklore moreso than the typical science fantasy that it usually deals with. it kinda feels like magic in fiction never entirely makes any sort of sense to me. i really enjoyed the story surrounding the magic, and the concept is really cool as well, i just would've liked an explanation tying up the myriad of loose threads going on here. altho sometimes those are the funnest stories as a fan to dig into. it's been fun reading theories and ideas on how it all worked. very strange episode, one that's gonna sit with me for awhile i think
