(1/2) The enshittification of Spotify is almost complete. After demonetising 67% of music on the site since April - mostly from alternative and small independent artists, and funneling their earnings to major label artists (but mostly their label and its shareholders), they then introduced Smart Shuffle to populate third party playlists with algorithmic picks. Now they’ve just reduced Release Radar from 200 tracks to just 30 new releases from your followed artists (TBC)👆
