Took a day off to enjoy the horizontal drizzle. Planted the first 4 fruit trees I have raised from seeds; plums, pears, and cherries.
Top 40cm are nice topsoil, then comes a layer of sand/clay mix peppered with rocks. Not the worst but thoroughly soaked by all the rain we've had lately.
