I went to someone else’s house last night, and they had a tv going. It was playing an American tv channel on low volume. I was fascinated by the commercials. So many of them are for pharmaceuticals, but don’t say anywhere in the commercial what the drugs are for. However, all sorts of health warnings scroll by on the bottom while the talking head exhorts folks to ask their doctor if this med is something they should take. How freaking surreal and dystopian. Like a commercial from Robocop.
