I guess I’m counting the Jim Crow south as a fascistic regime which was overthrown without a civil war. And remember that we are not yet in fascism, which gives us a fighting chance still. We have more tools available to us now, so it does not make sense to cede them as if a dictatorship has already been established. We should use them while we can. But I get your desire to have a plan for if they fail.
