It's maddening watching politicians talk past the "youths" they seem so desperate to protect. I have some small hope that when I've hosted presentations for high school students, the idea of participating and "taking power" (instead of waiting to for older generations to GIVE power) seem to resonate.
I don't doubt that in an era of HUGE data tech companies, some notion of reforming or adapting section 230 could be worth a conversation with some nuance, but this current drive to sunset it is ludicrous.
