I’m starting to view academia as sheer stupidity. I’ve done 6 major moves for my academic career. One for undergrad, masters, PhD, postdoc, an internship, a research role. This has caused me severe stress, hardship, & lack of normalcy. My research involves a patent & a professor literally won’t allow it bc he wants publications of it. My research has been in public interest reports & I can’t get remote funding or a remote role. Academia is f-ing stupid & we need to make all of it remote asap
