I've been playing with MLX, libraries, torch alternative on Apple devices. They have mlx-lm for text, mlx-vlm for vision, DiffusionKit for image generation, mlx-whisper for ASR. I'm especially watching mlx-vlm, because they started supporting more recent VLMs like qwen2-vl and pixtral. They're also working on llama-vision, molmo, and video support.
