An Unfederated Two Way Peg to a merge-mined token that has near 100% the hashrate of Bitcoin appears to be possible with BitVM.
High L1 fees will remain but there will be secure full-custodial onboarding solutions in the near future.
Anybody out there building such tech? If so, we'd like to help fund the work
