one of the most mind blowing things about politics in the USA is the left leaning Americans who reserve the most criticism for the Democrats. what matters in politics is results and tactics, not ideological purity tests. progress is progress, even if it is not as much as you want
please, criticize the Dems. but be aware of three things:
1. loss of perspective that the slobbering beast that is the GOP must be defeated, as job #1. naval gazing efforts and inflexible idealism must not move you to inaction on this most important of questions
2. there are concern trolls who redirect the topic into lost perspective and lost context, purposefully. tedium and analysis paralysis. losing sight of the most important conflict
3. learned helplessness as a political and psychological weapon. never forget that cynicism is acceptance. the GOP hasn't forgotten, they welcome your cynicism
