I’m getting lots of sensible responses about how cats know that people don’t like having biscuits made on bare legs, which makes a lot of sense. Interestingly, Shadow doesn’t make biscuits on people at all (she will when sleeping on a pillow or stack of laundry or such).
But fabric still gives her something to grip gently when climbing onto laps without injuring the people, so that makes a lot of sense.
