It was the Lansraad in a shit hole, and it flaunted the imperial power to all the natives. Like watering those six trees. The Russian nobility look of Lynch's Atriedes was spot on for this.

I like the brutalist architecture of the new Arrakeen complex, and the military styling of the costumes was sweet.

But Lynch's styles will always be my favorite.

Except for the ornithopters. DV's designs nailed that.
