It's not much of a road, pretty much just a rutted path. But a path it is, and it does, somehow and eventually, lead to the foothills of the mountains.

And although it seems strange to admire a road, giving it a personality as if it were sentient, I do admire this one for its determination to get to its destination. Small, narrow, neglected, and overlooked, it's persistent.
