It would be like going to the (somewhat mythical) Hyde Park Corner in London, giving your soapbox speech and then somehow being taken aback when the people who stood and listened say "well, that doesn't seem right".
Removing the handle when they are not the thread starter is quite different, and i can totally respect that.
