Went to check out some local history on this Heritage Day. Both my mom and I have very vivid childhood memories of this slide and this playground in general. Another woman, somewhere between me and my mom in age, was very excitedly sharing her memories of it too. It's long gone now, of course. Funny how we all had these immediate strong reactions to these photos.
