Mrs Tek's business had unemployment insurance through State Farm. When we sold it, State Farm claimed we owed extra UI premiums. In fact, they told us that like 10 times, each time with a different amount. I told them to if/when they can give me a final answer with a line-item invoice, I'll pay it in full.
Today I got a call from a bill collector for it. I told him, quote, "your client's on crack", which got him laughing. So now we officially dispute the debt, and it goes back to State Farm.
