I LOVE weight training. The gym is my happy place.
I also really like running, though lately haven't been in the mood, not to mention swimming. And I recently got a new toy, a SUP board with a kayak set-up. With that I can happily go paddling for 3-4h, including headwind.
Compared to that, walking is boring. Unless I'm doing a proper half or whole day hike.
I also heavily suspect that at 5km run is going to benefit me a lot more than 7km walking on easy ground.
