Honestly, instead of putting AI in the browser, I would be more grateful if browser developers add a local built-in SQLite database with full-text search plus few sprinkles of JS (no, not SQLite WASM, not IndexedDB).
*Then* extend it with CRDT and server-local sync like CouchDB/PouchDB or RxDB.
