I'm trying to wrap my head around the comment the Activity Pub could be used in lieu of Web Sockets for sending live information.

Are there good resources others have found that make understanding AP easier?

If I was sending updates as a post, how would the apps be able to let their listeners subscribe to the messages to get the updated live info?

Is listening for new messages something that can be done by a serverless app?
