Makes sense. I’m a literal child born in 2000 so I couldn’t tell the difference lol. To me they’re all “classic” even if they didn’t leave a huge mark.

I guess to me it’s bittersweet. Like all I’ve ever known is extremely diverse casting and hamfisted messaging. When I see these older movies it’s more subtle, but in a way they speak louder with the subtlety, if that makes sense.
