How should we refer to VP #Harris during this campaign? I've been (strongly) in the camp of not using "Kamala" unless it's paired with her last name as I would rarely, if ever, say "Donald" or "Joe" to refer to others in a presidential race.

But in the first campaign ad from #Harris2024, I'm seeing "Kamala" signs being prominently displayed, making me think this is a name she wants to be called.

So, fediverse, is it ok to talk about "Kamala" in this election?
