A housewife in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, who was allegedly raped by a gang, demanded the immediate arrest of the rapists and proper justice. The woman reported that the rapists used to gather and take drugs inside a neighboring government warehouse. After the police arrested some of them, they beat her husband, suspecting he had provided their information to the police. Three days later, the woman was raped by a group of six men while returning home from the market. She lost consciousness during the assault, and the rapists fled, believing she had died from excessive bleeding. Locals rescued her and she was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. After being released from the hospital, the victim's husband went to the Chandrima police station to file a case, but was asked to file a case with the court instead.
