I think I will selectively distribute to Spotify and curtail promotion.
1) 1-2 tracks (not albums) per year.
2) Tracks registered with the US Library of Congress, so statutory damages are enabled for infringement.
3) No publishing Spotify links.
4) No following Spotify links and, maybe, polite comments reminding the poster why.
Will these actions be noticed on the bottom line? Doubtful. But, we were chosen for our limited leverage.
