I have found the cause. I have a snap called pygpt installed on my system, and I noticed this on its changelog:

" **2.4.35 (2024-11-28)**

- Docker removed from dependencies in Snap version #82 "

This snap was installing the docker snap version without me realizing it! They reverted this today, it seems.

This must be prevented. Snaps are supposed to be self contained and cannot do these kind of things.
