also one has to be very careful when parsing how AI bros use the term "value." If he means 'valuation', sure, yeah, it might be trivial. (Especially if one assumes Line Go Up.) Or if he takes a Longermist perspective & presumes that it leads to creation of a trillion-trillion virtual humans - it's Longtermist dogma that 'future virtual lives' are 1:1 in value relative to current actual lives.
