"Thanks for the wonderful conversation on Saturday."

Strong. He points at "wonderful" and changes it to "great".

"I really enjoyed it, and thought maybe we could go on a date?"

Too much. He strikes "really" and changes "go on a date?" to "get together sometime?"

"How about Tuesday?"

Too soon. He scratches it out. "Friday?"
