A year ago I was rear ended in a motorway car accident (I'm fine). I had to stop because of traffic and saw the guy behind hadn't seen that. He was ~150metres away and even after he realised he wasn't going to stop in time.
When I saw this I relaxed and waited for the bang - a long 3 secs later. It was surreal.
I feel a bit like that now, waiting for the bang in January.
