Pimento Pie!!!
This is a test to see if I even like this kind of thing. The dough and the cheese are bought in. The recipe that inspired the test calls for a pastry crust made with the fraisage technique, which is a ton of work, and home-made pimento cheese - also more work than it’s worth for something I may not even like.
The egg wash makes it look plastic, but I promise it’s real.
