H.O.G. Rule 13: "The delivery of good medical care is to do as much nothing as possible."

The vast majority of healthcare is... nothing. Your annual checkups are not annual because it's evidence-based, rather, it's insurance-based or tradition-based.

Similarly, most medical conditions are self-resolving.

Question: Why can't there be some role for nostr in decentralized healthcare?

One issue is wrt credentials (dirty word, i know). ie How can someone "prove" their credentials without giving up their identity and personal information. (snowden touched on this at the nostrasia conference)

I have an alternate account (a "super-serious" account) on here and I plan on answering questions with #medicine or maybe #medstr? hashtags.

Just thinking out loud. I've been thinking about potential intersections between medicine and crypto basically since 2016 and it's disheartening because there isn't anything that isn't a blatantly obvious scam.

In my fantasy world, I can practice medicine pseudonymously, remotely, perhaps virtually (welcome to my VR office?), and transact in like fashion.

Illegal, illegal, illegal, illegal even if technically feasible.

Anyways, just thinking out loud. OK, I'm going to get up for real now. GOOD MORNING
