Took the Palm Springs tram today, with my new 180-600mm lens (and 2x tele). I shot this handheld from the peak. When I got home, I saw I could make out the tail numbers on this plane.
It’s eight miles away.
Naturally this lens is pretty soft at 1200mm, but it’s also kind of amazing what it can do.
